Job Description

Role Overview:

Join the dynamic and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at MSK, where over 900 Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are transforming cancer care! Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives in a collaborative, innovative environment?

We're looking for an ICU APP to manage medical and surgical Critical Care Medicine patients in our 20-bed ICU and on the Critical Care Medicine Consult service. In this role, you'll lead independently as part of the Rapid Response and Medical Code Teams, handle Sepsis Alerts, and provide critical care consultations across our main campus. You'll also have the opportunity to master advanced procedures like central line and arterial line placements, as well as point-of-care ultrasound. If you're passionate about critical thinking, teamwork, and expert patient care, this is the role for you!

Key Qualifications:

• Current New York State (NYS) RN and AGCNP license/registrations
• Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
• 2+ years of related clinical experience. Previous ICU, Critical Care, or experience treating high acuity patients highly preferred
• Related National NP certification
• BLS certification and DEA Certificate

OR

• Graduate from an accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification
• Active NYS or be qualified for state licensure
• A minimum of 3 years of PA experience is preferred

Additional Information:

Hours: Night Shift 7p-7:30a 12.5 hours;m13 shifts a month

Night shift commitment is for the first two years on service

Location: 1275 York Ave NY, NY

Pay Range: 144k-182k

*Advanced Practice Providers in the ICU receive a critical care reward payment bi-weekly*
