Job Overview

Provides safe and effective care to ambulatory patients under the supervision of a collaborating physician. Utilizes independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and provision of ongoing care to ambulatory patients that is in accordance with physician assistant licensure regulations for the Commonwealth of Virginia and delineated in the written Scope of Practice/Protocol for Physician Assistant.

Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, also serves as a resource and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills through participation in program development.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year as a Provider

Licensure, Education, and Certifications

• State License
• Valid DEA
• Graduate from an accredited program
• Current BLS/ALCS/PALS
• Board Certification or Eligible
