Pharmacy Tech III Full Time Days Position Summary
Assist the Pharmacist in the performance of the pharmacy daily routine. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state and federal laws, Joint Commission Standards, and hospital or departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
THE PHARMACY TECH III FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with clerical and science courses preferred.
Experience: 1. Entry level position. Prior experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
2. National and/or state certification preferred.
3. Registration with the SC State Board of Pharmacy required prior to working as a technician. (Orientation and training time are excluded)
