Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgery physician assistant to join a well-established team of surgeons and PA-Cs at Providence Medical Group's well-respected Orthopedics department. The primary focus for the position will be hand trauma and will be a mix of outpatient clinic, surgical and inpatient rounding duties. This position will round at Providence Sacred Heart, a Level II trauma center, and treat patients at the McClellan Downtown Orthopedic trauma clinic; which will include seeing patients postoperatively, as well as ER and Urgent Care follow ups and Occupational Medicine referrals. • Desirable Monday-Friday, five day work week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule
• No weekend or evening call coverage
• Mix of outpatient clinic, surgical, and inpatient duties
• Requires flexibility and adaptability
• Post graduate orthopedics and/or surgical experience required
• Hand surgery experience preferred
