Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (Informatics)
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialists (CPS) is a licensed pharmacist and is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in ambulatory care clinics, inpatient clinical wards/units, and long-term care settings as assigned. The CPS functions independently under scope of practice as defined by the medical center, will have direct patient care responsibilities, and will be qualified and authorized to provide services in support of primary care, specialized ambulatory care clinics, inpatient clinical ward/units, or long-term care settings as outlined in their CPS Scope of Practice.
