Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Nights (Wednesday-Friday 7p-7a)

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Utilize PACS to communicate verbal/non-verbal call backs.
• Provides information to on-call technologists, relating to ordering and canceling of STAT patient exams.
• Monitoring Radiologist reading que for the West Division to ensure studies are read in a timely manner.
• Utilize Powershare with outside facilities and our sister hospitals to share images on mutual Patients
• Assists the Radiologist in the reading room with critical call back logs to the ED Physicians and Nurses for the West Division.
• Faxes/calls all reports requested by Radiologist or ordered as such.
• Uploading outside CD’s and placing YZ orders to do comparison of images for various Physicians and hospitals for Patients that are having surgery or imaging at AdventHealth Tampa.
• Assists patients and family members in a timely courteous and efficient manner when requesting CDs
• Interacts with Medical Records and Patient Service Center and Registration staff. Directs Patients to appropriate departments.
• Maintains and disperses imaging media as needed by Physicians and Patients
• Locate prior CDs for Patients when necessary. 
• Files films and reports to the appropriate hospital departments, persons or areas.  Prepares CDs for release. 
• Prepares Patient exam CDs for mailing to referring facilities and non-staff Physicians.

What You Will Need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• 1 year of clerical or customer service

Job Summary:

Performs clerical and receptionist duties as required by the department.  Facilitates accurate and timely performance of Imaging exams.  Assists in procedures as instructed by Supervisor and Techs. Facilitates the transfer of reports as needed. Works as a bridge connecting Doctors with our Radiologists as needed throughout the West Division.
